📋 Description

• Review construction drawings and specifications to prepare detailed quantity take-offs and material requirements • Prepare pre-construction documentation, including project budget, schedules, procurement plans, contracts, and other essential documents prior to project commencement • Collaborate closely with site managers, contractors, and subcontractors to ensure smooth and efficient project execution • Manage and monitor two projects simultaneously, providing regular progress and status reports to stakeholders • Oversee material sourcing and procurement processes, including vendor coordination, negotiation, and cost analysis • Manage utility applications and liaise directly with utility providers for new service connections, system upgrades, and regulatory compliance • Ensure compliance with Health and Safety regulations and promote safe working practices on site • Prepare feasibility and cost analyses to support development financing and coordinate with the finance team during project fund drawdowns • Provide cost-effective recommendations and identify opportunities for process or design improvements to enhance project performance • Build and maintain strong professional relationships with clients, consultants, contractors, and suppliers

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, Engineering, or a related discipline • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in quantity surveying, cost estimation, and project management • Strong ability to interpret and analyze architectural and engineering drawings • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills • Proficient in cost estimating software and Microsoft Office applications • Familiarity with UK building regulations, standards, and codes of practice is an advantage • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with a focus on effective cost management • Excellent time management and organizational skills, capable of handling multiple priorities • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team environment • Highly detail-oriented with a strong commitment to accuracy and quality • Team-focused with a proactive and cooperative approach to achieving project goals • Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal
