📋 Description

• Engage with clients to understand requirements and advise on appropriate solution architectures • Collaborate with Product Managers to align client needs and solution design • Work with Delivery Managers to oversee the architecture approach during solution deployment • Explore possibilities and creative alternatives to identify effective solutions • Ensure solutions are implemented according to client expectations and company standards • Identify, specify, and select off-the-shelf components to meet client needs • Provide ongoing client support and guidance throughout implementation • Maintain awareness of industry trends and emerging technologies to improve solutions • Provide design and delivery expertise for forward-looking solutions in a modern cloud-based insurance environment • Design tailored solutions leveraging AWS and/or GCP, open-source, PaaS, and SaaS components

🎯 Requirements

• At least 6 years of professional experience in solution architecture design and delivery roles in the insurance vertical with exposure to multiple lines of business • Experience delivering cloud-based technology product solutions in an enterprise environment • Ability to assist in defining and socialising a product/enterprise roadmap • Ability to translate client requirements into actionable steps and solution architectures • Understanding of business architecture models and patterns • Experience designing and implementing innovative solutions to business problems • Understanding of cloud-based applications with high availability and highly scalable solutions • Experience designing solutions in relational database and NoSQL environments • Experience designing API and microservices-centric environments • Exposure to authentication and authorisation concepts, including SSO, SAML integration, and identity federation • Excellent written and verbal communication skills • Strong analytical skills and ability to understand and collect business requirements from corporate clients • Ability to build value propositions, solution documents, and sometimes business cases for corporate clients • Relationship management experience with corporate clients • Excellent organisational, interpersonal, and communication skills • Excellent decision-making and judgment skills • Understanding of insurance business processes across all areas and at least two lines of business • Certification in an architecture discipline such as TOGAF or Zachman is advantageous • Certification in one cloud environment is advantageous • High proficiency in English as the primary language
