• Lead the technical and career development (Individual Development Plan - IDP) of engineers, supporting senior references (Staff and Principal engineers) in the platform’s evolution. • Ensure the team’s operational efficiency by removing bottlenecks in agile ceremonies and ensuring technical refinements produce clear outputs for execution. • Orchestrate the interface between engineering and the business, translating technical challenges into financial impact and managing the sense of urgency with stakeholders and PMs. • Consolidate governance of performance metrics (DORA metrics, throughput, bugs), using data to promote the team’s self-sufficiency. • Monitor and raise the standard of technical documentation via versioned PRs, encouraging the use of AI and tools such as Creditas.dev for traceability. • Decide and act as a facilitator in complex architecture discussions, ensuring the team maintains autonomy over the ecosystem.
• Proven track record leading engineering teams, preferably in fintechs or high-scale environments. • Strong technical background (former Tech Lead, Staff, or Specialist) with the experience and authority to discuss architecture and critique technical plans. • Proficiency with modern stacks: experience with microservices architecture and ecosystems using Kotlin, Kafka, SQS, S3, GCS, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, and Redis. • Front-end knowledge: familiarity with micro-frontend architectures (React with Single-SPA). • Results-oriented: experience in environments where engineering is a strategic partner to the business, with real visibility into financial outcomes. • Change management: history of working through tribe reorganizations or team consolidations while maintaining group stability and culture. • Availability for hybrid work: required to attend our office in the Morumbi area of São Paulo once a month for four consecutive days, typically during the last or first week of the month (Creditas in Person).
