📋 Description

• Work across the full stack to design, develop, test, deploy, maintain, and improve software • Help architect a highly scalable and performant microservices-based architecture • Model complex objects for a robust, enterprise-grade software product • Apply deep understanding of backend, UI, and infrastructure software • Understand user needs and build intuitive, easy-to-use products • Collaborate with product managers, UX designers, and engineers to define, design, and implement product features • Uphold high engineering standards and maintain consistency across services • Manage individual project priorities, deadlines, and deliverables

🎯 Requirements

• BS degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a similar technical field, or equivalent practical experience • 10+ years of relevant experience building large-scale applications or complex enterprise software • 5+ years of experience with web applications, enterprise software, large software systems, and/or financial software • 5+ years of experience leading software projects in a technical capacity • Software development experience leveraging open-source technologies, Java or similar programming languages, and technology stacks • Experience with web applications/services, enterprise software, large-scale software systems, and/or financial software • Working proficiency and communication skills in verbal and written English • Interest and ability to learn new languages or technologies as needed • Primary internet connection with minimum 15 Mbps speed • Backup internet connection with at least 10 Mbps, capable of supporting work during a power outage • Primary desktop or laptop with Intel Core i5 8th generation or newer, Intel Core i3 10th generation or newer, AMD Ryzen 5, or equivalent processor • Minimum 8 GB RAM • Backup device meeting or exceeding Intel Core i3 performance and functional during power interruptions • Functioning webcam • Noise-canceling USB headset • Quiet, dedicated home office space • Smartphone for communication and verification
