📋 Description

• Lead EH&S for Plasma Europe and support implementation of global and regional EH&S strategies and programs • Identify and assess significant EH&S risks and develop and implement measures for risk mitigation and prevention • Advise and empower leaders and teams to strengthen safety and health • Promote a sustainable EH&S culture and foster cross-functional collaboration and communication • Provide transparent reporting on EH&S risks, strategies and performance to senior management • Ensure EH&S compliance and regulatory requirements including permits and reporting • Provide technical EH&S advice and review for facilities, processes, work procedures, equipment and new projects • Conduct regular site inspections and assessments of working conditions and ergonomics • Support sites in integrating health, safety and sustainability and in continuously improving the EH&S system • Support change initiatives, improvement programs, new facilities, pilot projects, process optimizations and Kaizen activities • Take responsibility for crisis and emergency management, occupational accidents, work-related illnesses as well as environmental and wellbeing topics • Further develop and implement a holistic health and wellbeing management approach across the European CSL Plasma network • Design, manage and monitor health programs and analyse health metrics • Coordinate with company physicians, health service providers, health insurers, authorities and the Wellbeing Champion network • Support global health and wellbeing initiatives and ensure their local implementation • Assist with recruitment, retention, training and development of employees • Ensure compliance with environmental, health and safety regulations at CSL Plasma sites in Europe • Manage and continuously improve EH&S processes and systems • Oversee environmental permits and regulatory reporting • Manage and monitor EH&S projects within capital and investment projects

🎯 Requirements

• Typically holds a Bachelor’s degree in Safety Engineering, Engineering, Health Management, Occupational Sciences or a comparable field • Qualified Occupational Safety Specialist according to the German Occupational Health and Safety Act (ASiG) • Up-to-date knowledge of German and European EH&S legislation as well as statutory accident insurance (Berufsgenossenschaft) rules • Minimum 5 years’ experience in a comparable working environment • Experience in developing and implementing health and prevention programs in a regulated environment is an advantage • Good to very good English skills
