📋 Description

• Tax Calculation and Close Management: Lead the monthly tax close for ICMS, PIS and COFINS (validation and reconciliation); • Compliance with Tax Filings: Ensure timely delivery and quality of ancillary obligations (EFD ICMS/IPI, EFD Contributions, GIA, etc.); • Litigation and Tax Audits: Support tax audits and inspections, preparing technical documentation for defenses and internal consultations; • Tax Reform Strategy: Monitor proposed legislation and assess financial and operational impacts of the transition (IBS/CBS); • SAP/Guepardo Configuration: Support and validate tax rules in systems, ensuring correct invoicing and posting; • Retail and Logistics Operations: Resolve complex inconsistencies (CT-e, returns, ST, freight and input credits); • Credit and Risk Management: Monitor credit recovery and reduce exposure through internal controls (SOX); • Continuous Improvement and Automation: Implement standardization and automation projects for tax processes within the SAP ecosystem; • AI Opportunities Exploration: Use generative or predictive AI to analyze large volumes of legislation (Tax Reform) and identify patterns of credits or mass risks.

🎯 Requirements

• Education: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Law, Business Administration, Economics or related fields; • Specialization (Preferred): Postgraduate degree/MBA in Tax Law, Tax Management/Planning or Tax Accounting; • Experience: Solid experience in indirect tax routines (ICMS, PIS and COFINS) in high-volume environments, preferably in Retail and Logistics. Experience supporting tax litigation and participating in audits/inspections; • Tax Expertise: Advanced knowledge of indirect taxes (ICMS, PIS and COFINS), focusing on complex Retail and Logistics operations (ST, freight credits, tax incentives). Analytical capability to support tax litigation and assess impacts/opportunities of the Tax Reform (transition to IBS/CBS).
