• Full responsibility for one of the company’s strategically most important sales territories (Frankfurt, Heidelberg, Saarbrücken, Karlsruhe, Homburg, Trier, Koblenz) • Entrepreneurially-minded sales leader operating in the field • Responsible for growth, market penetration and customer development • Position Leica Biosystems as the preferred long-term partner in cancer diagnostics • Full accountability for budget, revenue and target attainment in your sales territory, including forecasting, pipeline management and consistently exceeding defined goals • Proactive and strategic development of the sales territory and the establishment of robust, long-term partnerships • Responsible for the entire sales cycle from opportunity development and demonstrations to complex contract negotiations and closures • Translate complex technologies into clear clinical, economic and strategic value for customers
• Several years of successful experience in strategic sales or key account management within the medical, diagnostic or life-science sector • Ideally, a solid understanding of clinical diagnostics or pathology • Proven track record in managing complex sales processes • Strong strategic thinking paired with a hands-on, results-driven approach • Confident presence, negotiation skills and clear communication • Very good German and good English skills
