📋 Description

• Lead a team defining and implementing product design concepts, functionality, and user experience standards for flow cytometry software tools • Develop and maintain the product roadmap for flow cytometer acquisition and analysis software • Balance new features, technical debt, compliance validation, and performance optimization • Collaborate with the Product Manager, Systems Engineer, and software team Product Owner delegates to define, prioritize, and cascade designs, requirements, and wireframes • Participate in product team workshops focused on strategy, roadmap, and product requirements • Verify feature readiness for production, public beta, or private beta release • Run customer-facing betas, synthesize feedback, and collaborate with product management and development to prioritize feedback for implementation • Report to the Head of Software – Flow Cytometry

🎯 Requirements

• 5+ years of hands-on laboratory experience with flow cytometry, from sample preparation through analysis and reporting • 5+ years of UI/UX design experience using tools such as Figma and Miro • Comfortable engaging technically with software engineers and learning engineering concepts • Ability to collaborate cross-functionally and synthesize complex stakeholder inputs into clear proposals • Strong driver personality with the ability to maintain context during deep dives • Data-driven approach with strong intuition and a clear vision for the critical path to deliver a minimum viable product • Ability to travel up to 15% globally to visit customers, software teams, and conferences • Must have or be eligible for a passport • Previous experience using flow cytometry analysis software and clinical flow cytometry is a plus • Experience writing design and requirements documentation for a software product is a plus • Experience generating interactive mockups is a plus
