📋 Description

• Lead and manage healthcare-focused data science projects from conceptualization to deployment • Develop and implement advanced machine learning, natural language processing, and generative AI models for healthcare problems • Use Python to build, test, and deploy data science solutions • Utilize the GCP software stack to manage and analyze large healthcare datasets • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including clinical experts, to integrate data-driven insights into healthcare processes • Mentor and guide junior data scientists • Stay current with advancements in data science, machine learning, generative AI, and healthcare analytics • Present findings and recommendations to healthcare professionals and senior leadership • Ensure data science and AI best practices are followed across the team

🎯 Requirements

• Master’s degree or PhD in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field • 4–8 years of experience in data science or a related field, focused on healthcare applications • Experience within a healthcare setting preferred • Expertise in machine learning, deep learning, and generative AI • Proficiency in Python and relevant libraries, including TensorFlow, PyTorch, and scikit-learn • Extensive experience with Google Cloud Platform, including Vertex AI, BigQuery, AI Platform, and Dataflow • Strong understanding of healthcare data sources, healthcare informatics, and clinical data standards • Excellent problem-solving skills for complex, multidisciplinary projects • Strong communication and leadership skills • Proven track record of leading successful healthcare data science projects • Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams, including clinicians and healthcare professionals • Experience with electronic health records data and healthcare interoperability standards such as HL7 and FHIR preferred • Experience with Docker and containerization technologies preferred • Experience with AWS and Azure preferred • Familiarity with R and SQL preferred
