📋 Description

• Help mentees build their confidence and professional networks • Identify mentee strengths and career pathways • Collaborate on mentee resume, LinkedIn and interviewing skills • Share further knowledge about your industry/profession based on your own experiences (where relevant) • Motivate and support a skilled professional to realise their full potential in Australia

🎯 Requirements

• Have worked for at least two years in your field/profession/industry in Australia • Commit to a minimum of 15 hours of your time online over 12 weeks for mentoring (1 hour onboarding, 2-hour training*, 12 hours mentee support) • Complete online training* in trauma-informed mentoring and modern slavery awareness prior to being matched with a mentee • Be willing to share your industry knowledge and facilitate networking opportunities • Demonstrate respect for diversity and inclusion, including people from different cultural, linguistic and migration backgrounds • Maintain confidentiality and professional boundaries throughout the mentoring relationship • Have strong listening and communication skills, with the ability to support and encourage others without judgement • Support mentees in a professional capacity and empower them to make their own informed decisions. Maintain appropriate boundaries and avoid any personal advice
