âą Directly manage the assigned territory âą Demonstrate technical expertise to advise customers on technological solutions âą Exhibit sales-funnel management skills, with strong prospecting and closing abilities âą Conduct rigorous territory planning, acquire deep market knowledge, and produce accurate and timely forecasts âą Develop and manage a business plan aimed at achieving, or exceeding, the commercial objectives set for the territory âą Understand customers' scientific and commercial needs in order to win contracts âą Consistently and accurately manage the sales process, including sales forecasting, pipeline management, and sales tracking, through use of the CRM system and other designated IT tools âą Develop and maintain up-to-date knowledge of genetic analysis markets, products, and purchasing practices required to remain competitive in the assigned territory âą Leverage knowledge of products and applications across the genetic analysis portfolio to deliver successful commercial presentations âą Contribute to identifying and recruiting new sales staff as needed âą Ensure customers are fully satisfied âą Represent the company professionally, ethically, and with integrity at all times
âą Bachelor's, Master's, or PhD in Biology, Molecular Biology, Biochemistry, or a related field; or equivalent knowledge and experience âą More than 3 years of commercial experience in the life sciences, ideally with experience in both equipment and reagents âą Proven track record and drive to win contracts and develop long-term customer relationships âą Ability to travel as required to succeed in this field-based role
âą Requires up to 70% travel between DNA Script offices and customer sites across the EMEA region âą Contract type: direct employment contract in France, or indirect employment contract for other locations of assignment âą Workplace: This is a remote position based in France, Germany, or the Benelux region, preferably located near an international airport âą Start date: as soon as possible
