• Manage and expand a portfolio of customers including contractors, construction professionals, farmers, architects, and engineers • Identify new business opportunities and open doors in the market, particularly in decking systems, aluminium solutions, and roofing structures • Deliver tailored product presentations and offer practical solutions that align with client needs • Stay on top of local trends, customer demands, and competitor activities to inform sales strategy • Prepare quotes, provide technical input, and support clients through the sales process • Maintain accurate sales reporting and communicate regularly with the head office
• 5+ years' sales experience in construction, building materials, or related fields • Strong communication and negotiation skills, with a solution-driven approach • A solid understanding of trusses, rib & block decking, aluminium fenestration, and general building systems • Familiarity with the local market in the Winelands and surrounding areas (including parts of the Northern Cape suburbs) • Experience using IQ Retail software and MS Office • Valid driver’s license and own reliable vehicle – travel is essential
