📋 Description

• Manage HR Operations for Doonails in a stable, accurate, and scalable manner • Prepare payroll for multiple entities and collaborate with external payroll partners • Provide payroll data, perform reconciliations, and review payroll calculations • Process contracts, amendments, and terminations • Manage HR tools such as Personio, including setup, data quality, and further development • Own regular HR reporting and identify patterns, risks, and opportunities for optimization • Own HR Operations processes; define and continuously improve SOPs and quality standards • Simplify and automate manual processes, particularly with AI • Maintain salary bands and ensure consistency and fairness • Manage payroll-related benefits such as Urban Sports and company pension schemes, taking tax and legal requirements into account • Define travel expense policies, reimbursement processes, and cost categories • Consolidate travel costs across teams and identify cost drivers • Serve as the first point of contact for employment law questions and collaborate with external advisors • Prepare employment law cases, obtain assessments, and ensure their implementation

🎯 Requirements

• Several years of experience in HR Operations, ideally at a growing startup or scaleup • Experience with payroll and working with external payroll providers or tax advisors • Experience with international entities is a strong plus • Sound practical knowledge of German employment law, including contracts, fixed-term agreements, amendments, terminations, and parental leave • A legal degree is not required • Awareness of data protection requirements in day-to-day HR work • Experience with SOPs and process projects • Confident working with HRIS platforms, ideally Personio, and Google Sheets • Ability to derive insights from data • Openness to and practical willingness to use AI tools; experience with Claude or other AI tools is a plus • Trustworthy and discreet when handling sensitive matters such as salaries and contracts • Excellent written and spoken German and English
