📋 Description

• Development and enhancement of custom RPG/SQL software on modern IBM Power i systems in high-availability, mirrored LPAR partitions • Implementation of enhancement and maintenance projects for internal and external clients • Analysis and implementation of requirements from day-to-day operations for suppliers and internal business units • Working within structured software architectures using dedicated modules, functions and an internal developer workbench • Development and maintenance of interfaces, web services and APIs • Ensuring stable data flows from data entry through billing to data output

🎯 Requirements

• Completed vocational training or degree with a focus on computer science • Several years of development experience on IBM Power i • Very good knowledge of RPG (from RPG II to FreeRPG), CL and SQL • Solid expertise in IBM DB2 for i (DDS and SQL), including database design • Experience with triggers, stored procedures, service programs and copy routines • Routine use of development and collaboration tools such as IBM RDi, iACS, VSC4i, Jira and Confluence • Understanding of internal customers, ticketing and commercial processes is an advantage (e.g., billing, transactions, card or toll systems) • Fluent German and English skills
