📋 Description

• Report to the Victorian Team Lead • Provide technical and field support across water resources, contaminated land, groundwater, oil and gas, chemical and heavy industry, and landfill projects • Manage, analyze, and present environmental investigation and monitoring data, including groundwater, surface water, soil, recovery, and other data • Gather and compile desktop data • Review technical guidance, regulations, and case studies • Assist with reports and written deliverables, including monitoring reports, pump test reports, environmental site assessments, work plans, health and safety plans, and proposals • Provide technical expertise in groundwater flow and well hydraulics • Assist with contaminated land assessments, particularly for the landfill team • Develop conceptual site models • Support mining and CSG water management • Coordinate and implement environmental field programs • Log, drill, and monitor well installations • Set up, supervise, and analyze pumping tests • Assess and sample soils • Monitor groundwater and surface water • Conduct other environmental inspection and monitoring programs • Supervise field subcontractors, including drilling and excavation contractors • Plan and implement project and task scope, schedules, and budgets

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor degree in hydrogeology, geology, environmental science, or environmental engineering • Postgraduate degree in hydrogeology desirable, but not required • Up to three years of experience in a relevant environmental role • Training and experience in groundwater and soil sampling • Ideally, experience in pumping test analysis • Developing understanding of environmental and resource regulations • Advanced user of Microsoft Excel • Experience with Power BI and other database management preferred, but not essential • Pump test analysis skills • Australian experience • Current ability to work in Australia (citizenship or valid visa) required • Current Australian state driving license preferred
