📋 Description

• Design, develop, configure, and deploy APIs and API proxies using Apigee • Develop and maintain RESTful APIs and integration solutions based on business and technical requirements • Configure Apigee policies for security, traffic management, transformation, routing, caching, and error handling • Implement API security using OAuth 2.0, JWT, API Keys, TLS/mTLS, and other applicable security standards • Create reusable API proxy components, shared flows, and common integration patterns • Support API lifecycle activities including design, development, testing, deployment, versioning, monitoring, and maintenance • Integrate APIs with backend applications, cloud services, databases, and enterprise systems • Troubleshoot API failures, performance issues, connectivity problems, and production incidents • Monitor API performance and usage using Apigee analytics, logging, and monitoring capabilities • Collaborate with architects, application teams, integration teams, security teams, and business stakeholders • Participate in code reviews and ensure adherence to API development, security, and governance standards • Maintain technical documentation including API specifications, configurations, deployment details, and support procedures • Support CI/CD and automated deployment processes across development, testing, and production environments

🎯 Requirements

• Strong hands-on experience with Apigee, such as Apigee X, Apigee Edge, or Hybrid • Good understanding of API management and API lifecycle management • Experience developing REST APIs and working with JSON, XML, HTTP/HTTPS, and web services • Knowledge of Apigee policies, proxy endpoints, target endpoints, shared flows, and flow hooks • Experience with API security concepts including OAuth 2.0, JWT, API Keys, TLS/mTLS, and access controls • Understanding of OpenAPI/Swagger specifications • Experience with API troubleshooting, monitoring, logging, and performance optimization • Knowledge of Git and CI/CD tools/processes • Good understanding of cloud and enterprise integration concepts • Strong analytical, troubleshooting, communication, and collaboration skills • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related discipline • Relevant hands-on experience in Apigee/API development and integration
