📋 Description

• Prospect new accounts: research and identify target credit unions and community banks; reach out via phone, email, LinkedIn, and other channels • Qualify leads: engage prospects in meaningful discovery conversations, uncover challenges, confirm fit, and schedule qualified meetings for Account Executives • Generate pipeline: build and maintain a steady flow of qualified opportunities to help the sales team hit revenue goals • Follow-up & nurture: stay in touch with prospects who are not yet ready to buy, keeping them engaged until timing is right • Collaborate with Sales & Marketing on outreach strategies, campaigns, and account planning • Handle inbound leads: triage and qualify inbound interest from webinars, events, or campaigns • Stay market-savvy: keep up to date on the credit union and community bank market to identify trends, opportunities, and cross-sell potential • Maintain CRM discipline: log all outreach, conversations, and meetings in Salesforce • Be an Eltropy ambassador: share company story, represent values, and deliver a great first impression to every prospect

🎯 Requirements

• 1–5 years as a Business Development Representative at a B2B software or technology company • Proven success with cold outreach, including emails, calls, and LinkedIn prospecting • Familiarity with the credit union landscape or prior experience selling to financial institutions (preferred) • Strong verbal and written communication skills • Self-motivated, resilient, and eager to learn • Comfortable with rejection and quick to bounce back • Ability to work effectively in a remote or hybrid environment with a team of remote Account Executives • Knowledge of Salesforce (required); LinkedIn Sales Navigator or Outreach is a plus • Exposure to FinNav, Gong, and ZoomInfo preferred • Organized, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
