📋 Description

• Design and build pipelines for ingesting data into Databricks from sources such as SAP and website scraping • Write scenario-based tests and test edge cases • Discuss requirements with stakeholders to finalize code changes and acceptance criteria • Configure Unity Catalog permissions, OBO tokens, and Service Principals for Databricks AI and machine learning products • Build and deploy Databricks Apps using Visual Studio Code • Send custom Databricks notifications through APIs to custom Team Channel Webhooks • Build minimal single-page chat applications using FastAPI, React, and Claude Models/APIs • Apply system prompts, user prompts, prompt engineering, token economics, and prompt-based rule enforcement • Reengineer code and map its behavior to user requirements • Use graphs to identify rule interdependencies and circular references • Process text and images using Claude Vision API • Develop Retrieval Augmented Generation solutions using Databricks AI Search indexes and hierarchical chunking • Implement basic AI safety guardrails • Apply caching mechanisms • Work with Claude Code and Genie

🎯 Requirements

• Experience designing and building data ingestion pipelines into Databricks from sources such as SAP and website scraping • Core technical skills in PySpark and PySQL • Experience writing scenario-based tests and testing edge cases • Ability to collaborate with stakeholders to finalize code changes and acceptance criteria • Understanding of the Databricks Unity Catalog permissions model • Ability to use OBO tokens and configure Service Principals for Databricks Agents, Genie Spaces, Machine Learning, and Foundation Models • Knowledge of Databricks Apps • Ability to build and deploy Databricks Apps using Visual Studio Code • Ability to send custom notifications from Databricks using APIs to custom Team Channel Webhooks • Ability to use FastAPI and React to build minimal single-page applications with chat UI interfaces and Claude Models/APIs • Prompt engineering skills, including use of system and user prompts • Basic knowledge of token economics and rule enforcement in prompts • Ability to reengineer code, understand its behavior, and map it to user requirements • Ability to use graphs to detect interdependencies between rules and circular references • Ability to use the Claude Vision API and standard text processing • Understanding and development of Retrieval Augmented Generation for Databricks, including AI Search indexes and hierarchical chunking • Knowledge of basic AI safety guardrails • Understanding of caching mechanisms • Ability to work with Claude Code and Genie
