📋 Description

• Develop community goals aligned with portfolio and department objectives to drive member engagement • Ensure high-quality execution of assigned community goals, activities, learning opportunities, and member connection experiences • Serve as staff design expert for live and virtual member engagement opportunities • Provide program design, event planning, logistics, communications, and engagement expertise • Work with member leads and leadership teams on strategic and tactical planning • Serve as staff liaison and operational partner for community leaders • Project-manage signature events and core product deliverables • Maintain SOPs, member engagement data, community budgets, and training resources • Support selection and continuity of community leadership • Support member-leader meetings and leadership development • Collaborate with Products, technology, marketing communications, marketing, and partnerships teams • Ensure positive user experience and accessibility of community platforms • Produce and communicate monthly community event calendars • Cross-train and support product design and portfolio projects • Lead end-to-end execution of selected in-person regional GSEA competitions • Support execution of the global GSEA finals, including on-the-ground production support and student briefings • Form regional committees for competition planning • Identify chapters and communities to adopt and support GSEA • Manage regional GSEA competition expenses from planning through reporting • Support the path of leadership process and product portfolio updates • Host bi-monthly GSEA calls for chairs and champions • Provide worldwide resources and tools for GSEA chairs • Support collection of student competitor content for marketing materials and newsletters • Meet annual metrics for chapter competitions and country count • Represent and promote GSEA at EO and partner conferences

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in any field • Minimum 2 years’ experience working in community management or event planning • Preferably experience with larger-scale communities or events of 500+ participants • Two or more years with direct association, event planning or coordination-related work • Proven experience collaborating successfully with entrepreneurs on a variety of projects • Experience in coaching preferred • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and presentation tools • Some graphic design capabilities • Excellent customer service skills • Ability to work in teams with high accountability • Strong written and verbal communication skills • Ability to communicate effectively with staff and members worldwide • Exceptional organization and time management skills • Experience working in an international environment • Ability to participate in virtual and in-person meetings • Ability to travel up to 15% • Ability to attend occasional early morning/evening meetings across time zones • Ability to lift/move up to 30 pounds, as applicable
