📋 Description

• Conceive, design, and deliver implementable user interface flows for payment and identity experiences • Present and defend product design recommendations and Wero experience principles to senior stakeholders across EPI, member banks, and merchant teams • Act as a central point of contact for the EUDI European Digital Identity experience • Collaborate with UX and Product partners to create fast, reliable, dynamic, and empowering solutions • Translate complex identity and trust requirements into clear, usable interfaces • Build respectful and collaborative relationships with EPI colleagues and partner teams • Contribute to inclusive and accessible design practices • Lead Identity design within a cross-functional Product and Engineering team • Provide design continuity from prototyping and specification through pilot, Wero integration, and rollout • Report to the Head of Experience Design

🎯 Requirements

• 6+ years of experience as a Product Designer in a product-led environment • Track record of shaping complex digital products from concept to launch • Strong background in end-to-end product design • Advanced UI design skills • Advanced proficiency in Figma • Ability to balance craft, speed, and pragmatism • Ability to maintain clear, well-structured design artifacts and documentation • Experience translating regulatory and trust-based requirements into user-centered solutions • Experience with digital identity, authentication, consent, or privacy requirements • Experience building to AA standard • Qualitative and quantitative research capabilities • Ability to use research insights and data to inform design decisions • Strong communication skills with technical and non-technical stakeholders • Stakeholder management experience with senior leaders and external partners • Ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams • Fluent in English (CEFR C1 or C2) • French, German, Dutch, or another European language is a plus • Experience in payments, financial services, or fintech is a plus • Experience working in distributed or multi-market teams is a plus
