• Deliver permitting and compliance documentation supporting federal, state, and local air quality requirements • Develop and maintain traceable emissions inventories, calculations, and reporting workpapers • Prepare environmental submissions including Title V permits, NSR/PSD applications, Annual Emissions Statements, EPCRA Tier II, and TRI reports • Apply QA/QC processes to improve data integrity and reduce compliance risks • Collaborate with global ERM teams, client stakeholders, and technical specialists to maintain schedules and resolve data issues • Draft Title V, state construction, and minor/major NSR/PSD permit application content • Coordinate dispersion-modeling inputs and prepare stack-parameter and release-type data packages • Conduct control-technology research to support preliminary BACT/LAER writeups • Build emissions inventories and reporting workpapers using activity data, emission factors, and calculation templates • Support EPCRA Tier II and TRI Form R/NA preparation, including thresholding, SDS extraction, and unit/stoichiometry conversions • Reconcile permit, criteria/HAP, and GHG datasets and prepare audit evidence folders • Execute checklist-based QA/QC, maintain issue and action logs, and track regulator comments • Maintain document control, versioning, source hyperlinks, and regulator-ready PDF packages • Coordinate with client contacts, regulators, and subcontractors to maintain submission timelines • Participate in technical trainings, share lessons learned, update templates and SOPs, and support junior-colleague onboarding
• Bachelor’s degree in Chemical, Environmental, or Mechanical Engineering, Environmental Science, or Chemistry • Coursework or exposure in air regulations, mass balance, or environmental data analysis • 1–3 years in North American air permitting or regulatory reporting • Exposure to CAA, state permitting programs, and EPCRA Tier II/TRI reporting fundamentals • Internships and co-ops in industrial EHS or consulting considered relevant • Emissions estimation, factor selection, and activity data QA in Excel • Strong attention to traceability and unit conversions for North American programs • Working knowledge of Title V, NSR/PSD basics, NSPS/NESHAP applicability concepts, AERR inputs, and state annual emission statements • EPCRA Tier II/TRI fundamentals, including chemical thresholding, mixtures, de minimis, SDS interpretation, and calculation documentation • Clear written communication for technical narratives and regulator-ready submissions • Ability to coordinate with clients, regulators, and subcontractors in a remote delivery model • Experience supporting North American air permitting and regulatory reporting across multiple states or industries preferred • Exposure to Cority, ACTS, or similar environmental compliance management systems preferred • Experience with Power BI, data visualization tools, or automation technologies preferred • Professional certifications, advanced coursework, or postgraduate qualifications related to air quality, environmental engineering, environmental science, or sustainability preferred
