• On-label promotion and execution of sales strategies for approved Esperion products within assigned geography • Execute implementation of Esperion sales processes within the local geography in accordance with approved sales and marketing resources • Member of the field sales force and responsible for all aspects of personal promotion within assigned geography • Report into the Regional Sales Manager and review performance metrics with RSM to ensure territory sales goals are achieved • Develop and maintain strong business relationships with key customers in the assigned geography • Promote and educate Health Care Providers (HCPs) on Esperion products through one-on-one meetings, virtual engagements, company-approved promotional speaker programs, and other company-approved programs • Analyze local market trends, develop, execute and monitor performance and results to maximize appropriate use of Esperion products • Demonstrate use of sales and marketing tools and resources to achieve business objectives • Maintain knowledge of product payor coverage and deliver against market access objectives for the assigned territory • Periodically attend local, regional and national congresses to promote Esperion brands • Complete administrative tasks such as sample inventory, call submission & reporting, expense management, vehicle mileage reporting • Ensure compliance with corporate policies and procedures and complete required compliance training • Follow Esperion Expense Report guidelines and adhere to allocated territory budget • Establish and maintain communications among Regional Sales Managers and Territory Managers and monitor performance • Work closely with sales leadership and Market Access to maximize pull-through from commercial and government payers • Maintain vendor credentialing requirements to maintain access to customer locations
• Bachelor’s degree required • Preferred degree in sciences (eg. Biology, Chemistry, Physics, Kinesiology, Pre-med, other STEM background) • 1 - 3 years of pharmaceutical or relevant sales experience; or equivalent education and experience • Will also consider candidates with military background or similar experience demonstrating drive and discipline • Experience calling on or working with Healthcare Professionals preferred but not required • Must be willing and able to travel up to 30% including overnight stays for territory business and occasional Regional and National Sales Meetings • Valid driver’s license and clean driving record that meets Esperion employment standards • Documented track record of consistent high performance in sales, academics, athletics, or other similar endeavours • Desire to work in a start-up environment or successful experience operating in an entrepreneurial sales model with sole responsibility of product promotion within a large geographic territory • Ability to embrace a performance driven and growth culture • Demonstrated excellent presentation and communication skills • Ability to influence and work successfully with varied audiences • Strong interpersonal and selling skills • Ability to maintain vendor credentialing requirements for entities such as VendorMate and RepTrax
