📋 Description

• Serve as a core member of an agile team • Deliver software updates and technical changes to EverWell products • Solve technical and delivery challenges • Support technical leadership with planning and scoping strategic technical work • Contribute to software design and product work • Validate solutions and deliver customer value quickly • Promote and improve software standards • Identify and address maintenance issues and technical debt in the backlog or related work • Deliver changes prioritized by the product owner according to product, engineering, and design needs • Participate in incident response and on-call teams • Champion new technology adoption and AI-assisted development workflows • Coach and mentor junior engineers

🎯 Requirements

• 6+ years in a software engineering or equivalent role • Experience building SaaS software • Strong competency and experience with .NET and API Design • Previous experience migrating to .NET Core ideal • Ability to champion new technology adoption • Ability to design incremental, AI-assisted development approaches and agentic workflows with measurable throughput gains • Agile and DevOps principles • Experience with feature flagging and partial deploys • Experience with IaaS platforms such as Azure/AWS • Ability to collaborate across product and engineering • Strong written and verbal communication skills • Ability to translate technical concepts to less technical audiences • Collaborative programming experience or advocacy • Proven track record coaching and mentoring junior engineers • Empathy and ability to provide constructive, understandable feedback • Curiosity and problem-solving ability • Legally entitled to work in New Zealand
