📋 Description

• Develop and maintain COBOL programs in a mainframe (z/OS) environment, managing tasks autonomously • Implement and maintain online transactions under CICS • Design and optimize DB2 data access, including embedded SQL, access plan analysis and performance tuning • Work with VSAM files (KSDS/ESDS/RRDS) in online and batch routines • Perform impact analysis on high-criticality legacy systems prior to changes • Diagnose and resolve incidents and abends, ensuring routine stability • Provide technical support to less experienced team members and participate in code reviews • Interact directly with business areas for requirement refinement and technical feasibility • Prepare and maintain technical documentation

🎯 Requirements

• Solid experience developing in COBOL on mainframe environments • Hands-on experience with CICS in production environments • Knowledge of DB2, including embedded SQL in COBOL and performance considerations • Proficiency in working with VSAM files • Ability to work autonomously on critical, high-volume legacy systems • Plus: domain experience in Card systems (issuance, authorization, billing, disputes, or acquiring) • Plus: experience with VisionPLUS in any module: CMS, FAS, TRAMS, ASM, ITS, CTA, CDM, MBS
