• Map and design journeys: Define navigation flows, decision trees, scripts, and information architecture specific to conversational interfaces (chatbots, virtual assistants, messaging channels). • Research and validation: Conduct user research, dialogue usability testing, and data analysis to understand needs, behaviors, and communication friction points. • Specialized prototyping: Create wireframes, conversation flows, and prototypes to validate and refine interactions with users and internal stakeholders. • Tone and voice assurance: Develop and apply the brand's personality, tone, and voice in interactions, ensuring natural, fluid, inclusive language focused on problem-solving. • Data-driven decisions: Analyze interface performance metrics and run tests to optimize existing flows. • Collaboration and design advocacy: Present and defend design and UX writing decisions, explaining the strategic rationale behind flow and microcopy choices.
