📋 Description

• Lead the full software development lifecycle, from conception through deployment to staging and production • Serve as the squad’s technical reference, ensuring the quality, performance, and resilience of card and financial transaction services • Drive architecture and engineering decisions, assessing trade-offs and guiding the team toward scalable and secure solutions • Promote TDD/BDD, code reviews, clean code, DDD, and high automated test coverage • Participate in production systems support, with a focus on observability, monitoring, and response to critical incidents • Collaborate with business, product, and technology teams to evolve the bank’s card customer journey

🎯 Requirements

• Strong command of Kotlin or Java, with solid experience in Spring Boot • Proficiency in microservices architecture, communication patterns, resilience, API versioning, and continuous deployment • Extensive experience with automated unit, integration, and contract testing • Strong knowledge of relational and non-relational databases, especially PostgreSQL, MongoDB, and Cassandra • Hands-on experience with Kafka, SQS, and SNS, as well as large-scale asynchronous communication patterns • Advanced familiarity with metrics, structured logging, and distributed tracing • Practical experience with cloud environments, preferably AWS, using Terraform or CloudFormation and CI/CD pipelines • Understanding of JWT, OAuth2, encryption, and secure development practices • Experience working in agile environments focused on frequent deliveries, metrics, and a DevOps culture • Previous experience with payment processing, acquiring, card systems, or high-volume financial solutions
