📋 Description

• Design, develop, test, and deploy software solutions using Golang, JavaScript, and Python. • Build and maintain REST and gRPC APIs, integrations, and high-performance backend services. • Champion engineering excellence through test-driven development, code reviews, and automation. • Design and support distributed cloud-native systems, preferably on Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and Kubernetes. • Develop and maintain chaos engineering platforms and reliability-focused tooling. • Collaborate with engineering teams to improve system reliability, observability, scalability, and performance. • Lead troubleshooting, debugging, root-cause analysis, and resolution of complex production issues. • Participate in an on-call rotation and incident response activities. • Conduct post-incident reviews and implement preventative measures to reduce recurring issues. • Define and implement monitoring, logging, alerting, and observability solutions using industry-standard tools. • Implement security best practices and support security audits and vulnerability remediation efforts. • Perform capacity planning, performance analysis, and infrastructure optimization. • Develop, maintain, and validate disaster recovery and business continuity plans. • Create and maintain technical documentation, including architecture decisions, runbooks, playbooks, and operational procedures. • Mentor team members and provide technical leadership through design reviews and engineering best practices.

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience. • 8+ years of software engineering, site reliability engineering, or platform engineering experience. • Strong programming skills in Golang and experience with one or more scripting/programming languages such as Python or JavaScript. • Experience designing and operating distributed systems in cloud environments. • Strong understanding of Linux operating systems and system internals. • Experience with Kubernetes and cloud platforms. • Experience with observability and monitoring solutions, including OpenTelemetry or similar technologies. • Experience developing APIs and backend services. • Familiarity with relational and/or document databases. • Strong troubleshooting, debugging, and performance optimization skills. • Excellent written and verbal communication skills. • Preferred: Experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP). • Preferred: Experience with chaos engineering concepts and tooling. • Preferred: Experience with Dynatrace or similar observability platforms. • Preferred: Knowledge of C++, Rust, or other systems programming languages. • Preferred: Experience with platform engineering practices and infrastructure automation.
