• Achieve and exceed quarterly and annual sales quotas in the assigned region • Plan and execute sales activities according to agreed budgets, volumes, values, product mix, and timelines • Maintain and develop existing and new customers through regular account visits • Monitor upcoming tenders and prepare, attend, and follow up on tender processes • Manage the sales funnel and opportunity tracking • Monitor and report sales activities and management information • Provide pre-sales and post-sales technical support and guidance • Report competitive intelligence to marketing and sales management • Develop technical and commercial knowledge of products • Communicate and implement regional sales and marketing programs • Partner with Field Service Engineers to provide service and maximize consumables opportunities • Use and update customer and prospect contact management systems • Plan, support, and integrate local marketing activities, including launches, promotions, advertising, exhibitions, and telemarketing • Communicate, liaise, and negotiate internally and externally to develop profitable business and sustainable relationships • Attend and present at customer and internal meetings • Keep the CRM regularly updated and maintained • Deliver extensive user training, including presentations and practical demonstrations at customer sites • Report directly to the Area Sales Manager for North / Center of Italy
• 1-3 years relevant technical sales experience in the medical device market is strongly preferred • Experience selling capital goods and consumables • Scientific Bachelor’s Degree or Engineering is preferred • Experience interacting with stakeholders in sterilization, hospital hygiene, or operating room fields is a big asset • Strong analytical, commercial, and computer skills, including Excel, SharePoint, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics, or Salesforce.com • Ability to communicate with customers on both commercial and technical levels • Understanding of medical devices is preferred but not exclusive • Experience with FBS/Lean operation principles of continuous improvement is preferred • Fluent in English is required • Willingness to travel within the assigned region in Italy • Strong oral and written communication skills • Ability to work at several organizational levels • Passion for the role and drive to succeed • Excellent organizational skills and adaptability • Solid presentation, communication, and influencing skills • Strong time management and attention to detail • Ability to work effectively in a global environment • Sales and results orientation • Problem-solving skills
