📋 Description

• Design, develop, test, maintain and enhance Golang microservices and frontend applications • Deliver performant customer interfaces driven by the design system • Take full ownership of features from ideation through production • Contribute to technical strategy and communicate architectural decisions • Improve performance and observability of services and applications • Improve team and business quality of life through automation, process improvement or new technologies • Collect, process and verify large amounts of financial data describing cross-border payments • Serve financial data to users for informed business decisions • Interact with stakeholders across the business and immediate technical team

🎯 Requirements

• Experience writing Golang services and web application backends • Experience deploying applications in Docker containers • Experience building componentised React/TypeScript frontends • Ability to write performant SQL • Understanding of clean code principles and TypeScript and Go idioms • Ability to review code and establish team quality standards • Ability to learn and engage with a new business domain and product • Ability to communicate complex topics to technical and non-technical people • Ability to discuss how you learn and improve your skills • Experience with concurrent logic applications, such as goroutines, helpful but not essential • Experience building CI/CD pipelines, especially with GitLab CI, helpful but not essential • Experience configuring and using observability tools such as Prometheus and Grafana, helpful but not essential • Experience using AI to increase productivity and efficiency and productionised AI tools, helpful but not essential • Experience with MaterialUI, Airflow, Python or Terraform, helpful but not essential • Typical working hours are Monday-Friday, 9-5 EST/EDT • Willingness to provide on-call support when required
