📋 Description

• Perform insurance eligibility and benefits verification for patients • Contact insurance companies to confirm coverage, benefits, deductibles, copays, coinsurance, and authorization requirements • Accurately document insurance verification results and patient information • Identify and communicate insurance discrepancies or coverage issues • Coordinate with healthcare providers and internal teams regarding insurance requirements • Maintain accurate and confidential patient records • Perform other medical administrative and virtual assistant duties as needed

🎯 Requirements

• Proven experience as a Medical Virtual Assistant, Medical Administrative Assistant, or similar healthcare support role • Hands-on experience in insurance verification is required • Strong understanding of health insurance eligibility, benefits, and verification processes • Excellent communication and documentation skills • Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently • Comfortable working with healthcare systems, insurance portals, and electronic medical records • Reliable internet connection and a suitable remote-work environment • Experience working with Kaiser and Anthem Insurance is a strong advantage and will be highly considered
