📋 Description

• Execute mechanical erection works for rotating machines, pumps, blowers, fans, compressors, and control valves • Maintain, troubleshoot, repair, overhaul, and align pumps and other mechanical equipment • Coordinate with the Construction Lead, mechanical commissioning engineers, Site Manager, supervisors, subcontractors, clients, and other discipline foremen • Manage the mechanical construction team and supervisors to deliver project targets • Check assembly documentation, O&M manuals, I&T plans, and I&T programs • Supervise, support, guide, train, schedule, and deploy mechanical personnel • Implement EHS rules, directives, work permits, and site safety requirements • Perform erection and maintenance of turbine hall pumps, blowers, compressors, fans, and control valves • Perform shaft and rotor alignment and maintain records according to ITPL • Conduct walkdowns, visual inspections, commissioning assistance, equipment inspections, and troubleshooting during commissioning/synchronization • Check tool availability and request equipment, materials, and consumables • Maintain records, action lists, files, timesheets, inventories, work orders, manuals, and erection documentation • Monitor materials and equipment to minimize waste and damage • Identify and report non-conformities and work beyond scope through NCRs • Read drawings and prepare work sequences; check turbine alignment and other parameters • Assure quality of execution and compliance with field assembly, commissioning, statutory, safety, and QA/QC requirements

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelors of Engineering in Mechanical • 10-12 years of overall experience gained during professional life • 3 to 4 years’ experience in the execution of FGD / Power projects for power plants • Management experience of medium size multi-cultural technical team (desirable) • M & E Erection & Commissioning experience (desirable) • Ability to read and understand specifications, drawings, and project and engineering documentation • Knowledge of power plant KKS system is an added advantage • Experience with lifting and rigging • Familiarity with Company Safety and QA/QC procedures • Ability to use and train team members on accurate measurement tools • Mechanical erection, maintenance, alignment, overhauling, repair, and troubleshooting experience • Communication, organization, delegation, leadership, and team-building abilities
