📋 Description

• Execute mechanical erection works for rotating machines, pumps, blowers, fans, compressors, control valves and related equipment • Maintain, troubleshoot, repair, overhaul and align pumps and other mechanical equipment • Coordinate with construction leads, commissioning engineers, site managers, supervisors, subcontractors and clients • Manage mechanical construction teams and supervisors to deliver project targets • Check assembly documentation, O&M manuals, I&T plans and programs • Supervise erection and maintenance of rotating machines, turbine shaft lines and mechanical systems • Implement EHS rules, directives, work permits and safety requirements • Oversee daily activities, training, scheduling and workforce efficiency • Prepare and brief teams on site jobs and work sequences • Perform shaft/rotor alignment and maintain ITPL records • Conduct walkdowns, visual inspections and report malfunctions, faults, leaks and noise • Assist commissioning with cleaning, inspections, tools, spare parts and troubleshooting during synchronization • Maintain records, action lists, equipment documentation, timesheets, inventory and work orders • Coordinate materials, equipment, consumables, lifting and rigging, and minimize waste and damage • Monitor quality, QA/QC compliance, non-conformities, NCRs and statutory/site instructions • Deploy manpower and provide on-the-job training • Prepare regular field reports and support successful project completion

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelors of Engineering in Mechanical with overall Experience gained on the job during professional life – 10-12 years • 3 to 4 years’ experience in the execution of FGD / Power projects for power plants • Management experience of medium size multi-cultural technical team (desirable) • M & E Erection & Commissioning experience (desirable) • Ability in reading and understanding specifications, drawings, and related project and engineering documentation • Knowledge of power plant KKS system is an added advantage • Must have experience on lifting and rigging • Familiar with Company Safety and QA/QC procedures • Ability to use and train team on accurate measurement tools • Knowledge of rotating machines preservation during erection and assembly phase • Ability to organize work, delegate, control and assume responsibility • Communication and team building faculties
