📋 Description

• Do you want to help shape the world of tomorrow with us? Join our Operations team as Head of Construction – Photovoltaic Systems and take on the leadership and further development of a dedicated project team that supports our PV systems from the construction phase through successful commissioning. • With your experience, you will ensure that our projects run smoothly, our systems are connected to the grid on schedule, and our customers can use as much sustainable energy as possible. • Learn our construction and project processes, tools and standards. • Gradually take over leadership of the construction-phase team and learn the interfaces with internal and external project stakeholders. • Lead and develop a team of currently six project managers responsible for the construction of our photovoltaic projects. • Ensure the scheduled and fault-free commissioning of our PV systems on commercial and industrial rooftops as well as ground-mounted sites. • Support technical planning, installation and commissioning of PV systems and assume responsibility for quality, schedules and costs. • Manage and oversee our installation partners, including final negotiation of project-specific general contractor (GC) contracts. • Prepare regular reports on project progress, risks and challenges for management and initiate necessary measures. • Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations, standards and quality requirements. • Actively contribute to the optimization of internal processes as well as the selection of new partner companies and software tools. • Take an active role in mentoring and developing less-experienced colleagues in project management. • Grow the department further by creating scalable processes and structures to support continued growth. • Foster a culture of ownership, quality and team spirit within your area. • Introduce KPI-driven management to make project quality, efficiency and profitability transparently measurable. • Drive continuous improvements in construction execution to make our projects even more efficient, safer and more sustainable.

🎯 Requirements

• Degree in civil engineering, electrical engineering, renewable energies or a comparable qualification. • Several years of professional experience in construction site management and project management in photovoltaics or in coordinating comparable infrastructure projects. • Proven experience in people management and a confident communication style to lead interdisciplinary teams and collaborate successfully with partners. • Demonstrable expertise in establishing and strategically shaping efficient project management structures. • Solid understanding of the relevant standards, regulations and occupational safety guidelines in the PV industry. • Structured, solution-oriented working style with a high level of personal responsibility and assertiveness. • Willingness to travel to project sites and flexibility in working methods.
