📋 Description

• Serve as a trusted advisor to GitLab prospects and customers in the ANZ region • Explain how GitLab's AI-powered DevSecOps platform addresses technical requirements and business objectives across the software development lifecycle • Guide organisations through digital transformation from planning through monitoring • Lead technical discovery, demonstrations, validation, solution design, proofs of concept or value, workshops, tenders, audits, and value stream assessments • Collaborate with Account Executives and regional sales teams across ANZ on account strategies for customer acquisition and expansion • Build relationships with technical practitioners and business leaders and help them become GitLab advocates • Advise customers on software development, CI/CD, security, and cloud practices • Share customer feedback, use cases, and competitive insights with Product Management, Engineering, Sales, and Marketing • Create reusable technical examples, best-practice guidance, and customer and partner collateral • Invest in ongoing learning, mentorship, and knowledge sharing

🎯 Requirements

• Experience engaging with customers in technical pre-sales, consulting, or similar roles, guiding them through solution design and evaluation • Proficiency with the end-to-end software development lifecycle, including modern DevSecOps practices and continuous integration and continuous deployment workflows • Hands-on experience with GitLab or comparable source control, continuous integration and continuous deployment, and collaboration platforms • Ability to map platform capabilities to customer use cases • Practical knowledge of cloud computing concepts and related technologies • Ability to discuss deployment, security, and operations options with technical teams • Ability to lead proofs of concept or proofs of value, contribute to tenders or audits, and design and run workshops or value stream assessments • Clear technical communication and presentation skills, adapting messages for practitioners through senior business and technical decision makers • Skill in building trusted relationships, listening with empathy, and acting as a customer advocate • Motivation to continuously develop professionally and learn new technologies • Ability to work remotely under GitLab's country hiring guidelines
