📋 Description

• Analyze and optimize the performance of Oracle databases, evaluating SQL queries to identify bottlenecks and improvement opportunities. • Analyze execution plans, cardinality, indexes, joins, full table scans, and other performance-related aspects. • Perform SQL tuning activities, identifying queries with high CPU, I/O, or memory consumption, as well as extended execution times. • Analyze, review, and optimize PL/SQL code, including procedures, functions, packages, triggers, cursors, PL/SQL blocks, jobs, and automated routines, proposing and implementing improvements to ensure greater efficiency, stability, and scalability across Oracle environments.

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Computer Engineering, or a related field. • Extensive experience as a Senior Oracle DBA. • Advanced knowledge of Oracle database administration. • Experience analyzing and optimizing Oracle database performance. • Proficiency in SQL and PL/SQL. • Experience with SQL tuning and execution plan analysis. • Knowledge of indexes, cardinality, statistics, joins, and query optimization strategies. • Experience identifying and resolving performance bottlenecks related to CPU, memory, and I/O. • Experience optimizing procedures, functions, packages, triggers, and cursors. • Experience with Oracle performance monitoring and diagnostic tools. • Knowledge of Oracle AWR, ASH, and ADDM. • Experience working in mission-critical and high-availability environments. • Experience automating database administration routines. • Knowledge of Oracle architecture and environment sizing. • Oracle certifications related to database administration and performance tuning.
