green flexibility is a European developer, builder and long-term operator of utility-scale battery storage systems that provide grid stability, flexibility and market services for the energy transition. The company identifies and secures sites, engineers and constructs large-scale batteries, and runs them commercially in partnership with network operators, landowners and municipalities, focusing on net-neutral integration and regional grid support.

📋 Description

• Perform ongoing financial accounting (accounts receivable, accounts payable, and general ledger accounts) • Review, code, and post incoming and outgoing invoices • Execute payment transactions, manage bank accounts, and monitor and maintain open items including dunning/collections • Process travel expense and other expense reimbursements • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with HGB (German Commercial Code) • Prepare VAT returns (preliminary VAT filings) and reconcile with the tax office • Collaborate with tax advisors, auditors, and financial authorities • Support internal and external audits as well as the annual audit • Produce analyses, reports, and statistics for management, including support for budget planning and control • Monitor fixed assets and perform asset accounting • Maintain and improve internal processes to ensure data quality • Support and train colleagues in accounting processes and systems

🎯 Requirements

• Completed commercial/vocational training (e.g., tax clerk/Steuerfachangestellter, industrial clerk, office management clerk, or administrative specialist), ideally with further qualification as Bilanzbuchhalter (IHK) or an equivalent certification • Several years of professional experience in financial accounting and in preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements under HGB • Confident user of MS Office, particularly Excel; experience with DATEV is a plus • Independent, careful, and structured working style with a high degree of responsibility • Strong numerical affinity, excellent communication skills, and a team-oriented approach
