📋 Description

• Lead and develop a team of software engineers • Conduct regular 1:1s and provide continuous feedback and guidance • Support team members’ professional and personal development • Foster ownership, collaboration, trust, and continuous improvement • Set clear goals and support team health, motivation, and performance • Make sound technical and architectural decisions with the team • Act as a technical sparring partner and help navigate complex technical challenges • Ensure software quality, reliability, maintainability, and observability • Stay close to the technology and understand the systems the team is building • Contribute to technical discussions and architecture without being the primary developer • Collaborate with Product Managers, Engineering Leads, and stakeholders • Translate product goals into clear technical priorities • Balance technical excellence with business and customer needs • Help plan and deliver improvements and new features • Contribute to continuous improvement of the engineering organization and ways of working

🎯 Requirements

• Several years of professional experience in software engineering • Practical people leadership experience leading and developing software engineers • Experience conducting regular 1:1s, providing feedback, coaching, and supporting individual development • Strong technical foundation • Ability to engage confidently in technical and architectural discussions • Experience taking ownership and making decisions in complex or ambiguous situations • Collaborative and coaching-oriented leadership style • Ability to communicate clearly with technical and non-technical stakeholders • Pragmatic mindset and strong sense of ownership • Genuine interest in building products with real-world impact • Experience with distributed systems, cloud technologies, IoT, or edge computing is a plus • Experience with Go, Rust, C++, or similar programming languages is a plus • Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, SQL, observability, or modern cloud infrastructure is a plus • Experience in energy, EV charging, mobility, or another complex infrastructure domain is a plus
