📋 Description

• As Property Manager (m/f/d) you will act as the owner’s representative for Grün Berlin GmbH and play a decisive role in preserving and enhancing the historically significant Berlin Wall Trail. • Maintenance of sections of the trail as well as the complete inventory of signage and information elements • Carrying out inspections by bicycle to assess condition and identify needs for updates or to verify implemented measures • Receiving and processing damage reports • Tendering, commissioning, coordinating and settling invoices for contractors/service providers • Close, cooperative collaboration and coordination with colleagues responsible for project development • Acceptance and handover of completed projects into ongoing maintenance • Coordination with landowners and other stakeholders (e.g., the Berlin Wall Foundation) • Year-round responsibility for the site, from involvement in financing to reporting and documentation • Maintenance of a GIS-based register • Point of contact for inquiries about the Berlin Wall Trail

🎯 Requirements

• Completed degree, e.g., in landscape planning, urban and regional planning, geography, transport planning, or equivalent relevant experience • Experience commissioning and accepting services in horticulture/landscaping and civil engineering desirable • Knowledge and experience in project or property/asset management • Knowledge of public construction and procurement law (VgV, VOB, VOL, HOAI) as well as the recognized technical standards and applicable norms • Experience with GIS software is an advantage • Business-fluent German language skills • Service-oriented mindset and strong communication and cooperation skills • Interest in the history of the Berlin Wall • Willingness to regularly and independently cover longer sections of the Wall Trail (by bicycle)
