📋 Description

• Create new artwork and complete sets in Hadley Designs' established style across product lines • Draw and illustrate original characters, motifs, patterns, and scenes • Turn the Chief Creative Officer's concepts into finished, production-ready product designs • Carry designs from initial handoff through final build-out • Own variations, full-set build-outs, and file preparation • Prepare print and production files to spec • Build mockups and product previews for listings • Maintain on-style and on-brand consistency across product sets • Maintain the living style-reference • Provide occasional secondary ad-ops support and revisions on existing product lines • Deliver work on time and independently carry projects from handoff to production-ready

🎯 Requirements

• Portfolio of original illustration work showing a cute, playful, kid-friendly or product-design sensibility • Working proficiency in Adobe Illustrator for native illustration • Ability to match and extend an existing art style • Ability to take written and verbal creative direction and turn it into finished work • Reliability on deadlines while managing several pieces at once • Early-career illustrator with genuine drawing talent and an eye for cute, playful, kid-friendly design • Experience preparing print / production files to spec (nice-to-have) • Familiarity with the children's, educational, or consumer-product space (nice-to-have) • Comfort with Notion, ClickUp, and file organization (nice-to-have)
