📋 Description

• Administer Azure infrastructure, including provisioning, resizing and decommissioning resources • Support Azure PaaS workloads including App Services, deployments, configuration, scaling and restarts • Apply resource tagging, cost-optimisation recommendations and policy compliance actions • Monitor Logic Monitor, Azure Monitor, Log Analytics and enterprise monitoring platforms • Acknowledge, triage and action alerts within SLA • Investigate alerts using KQL, Application Insights telemetry and Windows Event Logs • Tune duplicate or non-actionable alerts through thresholds, aggregation windows and suppression rules • Maintain monitoring coverage, dashboards and workbooks • Resolve incidents end to end and support major incidents with diagnostics, evidence gathering and communication updates • Contribute to root cause analysis and implement assigned corrective actions • Perform proactive health checks across applications, servers and Azure resources • Create and update application and alert-handling documentation • Track recurring issues and raise problem records • Perform performance troubleshooting using OS and Azure diagnostic tools • Write and maintain PowerShell scripts for administration, health checks, reporting, scheduled tasks and cleanup jobs • Optionally build automation with Azure Automation Runbooks, Logic Apps and Power Automate • Contribute to AI agents for log summarisation, alert triage, incident notes and runbook knowledge-base questions • Apply prompt engineering and verify AI-generated output before production • Administer Windows Server in Azure and hybrid environments • Support IIS application pools, bindings, virtual directories, logs and basic performance troubleshooting • Perform SSL/TLS certificate renewal, installation, binding, store management and expiry monitoring • Support Windows Failover Clustering and SQL Server Always On with team engineers and database administrators • Work within ITIL incident, problem and change management using ServiceNow • Raise and document change requests and complete them within approved windows • Maintain runbooks, SOPs and knowledge articles • Provide shift handovers and incident status updates to stakeholders

🎯 Requirements

• 4–6 years in systems administration, application and infrastructure support, or cloud operations • Minimum 4 years of hands-on production Azure administration • Minimum 3 years administering Windows Server in production • Experience working to SLAs in a ticket-driven support environment • Willing and available to work rotating 24×7 shifts and out-of-hours maintenance windows • Graduation or above • Clear written and spoken English • Practical use of AI/LLM tools in a work context, with at least one concrete example of manual work automated or removed • Required: AZ-104 (Azure Administrator Associate), held—not training completed • Healthcare or other regulated-industry experience preferred • Preferred: AZ-900, AI-900, ITIL Foundation, MCSA or equivalent Windows Server certification • Azure PaaS and IaaS administration • Windows Server administration • IIS administration and SSL certificate handling • Azure Monitor and Log Analytics, with working ability to read and write basic KQL • PowerShell scripting—able to write and modify scripts independently • Ticketing and ITIL process discipline
