📋 Description

• Resolve patient and provider billing inquiries related to provided services • Audit patient balances and escalate accounts requiring adjustments • Update patient demographics, including addresses, telephone numbers, and insurance information • Rebill claims as necessary when reviewing collection accounts • Generate and print patient statements and monitor the printing process • Process payments in client payment portals • Review bad address/return mail reports and update patient demographic information • Review collection reports and generate collection progression letters • Prepare accounts for collection agency distribution • Cross-train on team-assigned tasks to ensure continuity and backup coverage • Safeguard protected health information in accordance with HIPAA guidelines • Support department and company goals and policies • Maintain reliable attendance and punctuality • Escalate issues to the Patient Services Manager or Director • Perform other related duties as assigned
