📋 Description

• Manage end-to-end payroll delivery for Australia • Coordinate UK and Singapore payroll with external providers • Liaise with the Employer of Record partner for employees in other countries • Escalate non-compliance and other risks to the Global Payroll Lead • Maintain the payroll shared drive and accurately file historical records • Support payroll transformation initiatives, system improvements, and process standardisation across AU, UK, SG, EOR-managed, and future entities • Review and verify employee-submitted data in Rippling before each pay run • Ensure payroll-critical employee data is accurately captured and maintained • Flag data-quality issues to the Global Payroll Lead and People team • Provide payroll data and reporting inputs for Australian state payroll tax returns, insurance premium calculations, annual payroll tax reconciliation, AU and Singapore year-end reporting, month-end payroll journals, and leave liability reports • Prepare ad hoc payroll reporting • Serve as a key employee contact for pay matters and partner with People & Culture within the Finance team

🎯 Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in a payroll specialist or similar role, ideally spanning more than one country/jurisdiction • Working knowledge of Australian payroll legislation and compliance requirements, including Fair Work, superannuation, payday super, STP, and payroll tax • Hands-on experience processing payroll in Rippling, including oversight of automated STP reporting and superannuation payments • Experience with employee self-service (ESS) systems, including reviewing and actioning employee-submitted changes • Experience coordinating with an external payroll provider and working within a multi-stage approval workflow • Strong Excel skills and comfort working with data across multiple systems • High attention to detail and discretion with sensitive information • Clear, confident communication skills to explain payroll matters to non-payroll people • Ability to work in a fast-moving, scaling environment where processes are evolving
