📋 Description

• Own the complete order lifecycle from customer purchase order receipt through shipment, delivery, invoicing, and issue resolution • Process customer purchase orders and coordinate inventory allocation and fulfillment • Work with distributors, retailers, warehouses, manufacturers, and logistics providers • Manage EDI orders and resolve shortages, shipment discrepancies, deductions, late deliveries, and other issues • Coordinate parcel, LTL, and FTL shipments • Obtain and evaluate freight quotes and manage shipping documentation, BOLs, routing requirements, and delivery appointments • Track shipments and address delays or exceptions • Manage inventory across finished goods, ingredients, raw materials, and packaging • Maintain inventory levels, reorder points, inventory forecasts, and demand forecasts • Coordinate production runs and monitor production schedules • Procure materials and manage supplier purchase orders • Negotiate pricing, payment terms, MOQs, lead times, and other commercial terms • Manage vendor relationships and improve vendor performance and costs • Build sales, demand, inventory, production, and cash-need forecasts • Analyze COGS, landed costs, gross margins, freight costs, promotional costs, distributor margins, and retailer margins • Build pricing and margin models and provide management reporting • Support bookkeeping, bill entry, reconciliations, and AP/AR • Work within QuickBooks to support financial operations • Use Claude, ChatGPT, and other AI tools daily for analysis, workflow automation, research, SOPs, and productivity • Identify and automate repetitive tasks and improve operational systems • Maintain proficiency across Google Sheets, Gmail, Google Workspace, QuickBooks, Salesforce, and EDI systems • Coordinate food safety and quality documentation and maintain COAs, product specifications, and ingredient records • Assist with lot tracking, expiration dates, traceability, recall readiness, and FDA, retailer, distributor, and food safety compliance

🎯 Requirements

• 5 or more years of relevant operations, supply chain, logistics, procurement, or related experience • Strong understanding of accounting and financial principles including COGS, margins, P&L, and cash flow • Demonstrated experience managing POs, inventory, procurement, production planning, and logistics • Experience working with freight carriers, warehouses, manufacturers, suppliers, and other outside vendors • Strong forecasting capabilities and ability to build and maintain operational and financial models • Demonstrated proficiency using AI tools such as Claude and ChatGPT as a core part of daily work • Advanced Google Sheets and spreadsheet skills, including large datasets, formulas, lookups, pivot tables, financial models, and operational reporting • Extremely tech-savvy and able to learn new systems quickly • Excellent written communication skills with proactive follow-up • Highly organized and able to manage high volumes of emails, tasks, deadlines, and competing priorities • Comfortable making decisions and taking full ownership of outcomes • Food, beverage, CPG, or consumer products experience (nice to have) • Experience with QuickBooks (nice to have) • Familiarity with inventory management systems, retailer portals, distributor portals, 3PL systems, and shipping platforms (nice to have) • Experience managing EDI orders (nice to have) • Background in a high-growth or early-stage consumer brand environment (nice to have) • Updated resume and a short 1–2 minute Loom video required for application; only candidates submitting a Loom video advance
