📋 Description

• Prepare Australian tax returns for individuals, including salary and wage earners, trusts, companies, and SMSFs • Prepare financial statements and supporting workpapers • Compile clear and organised lists of client queries for the Client Manager • Escalate complex tax or accounting matters when appropriate • Maintain accurate and well-organised client files using FYI and Xero • Manage a varied workload independently and complete assigned work within deadlines

🎯 Requirements

• Certified Public Accountant (CPA) • Minimum 5 years of experience supporting or working with an Australian accounting firm • Solid understanding of Australian tax compliance requirements • Comfortable working with Xero, FYI, and Microsoft 365 • Strong attention to detail and time-management skills • Ability to work independently in a remote, home-based role • Demonstrated high academic grades in numeracy and literacy • Must be based in the Philippines • Ability to align with AU business hours, approximately 9 AM–5 PM, Monday to Friday • Disclose any existing ongoing roles or client work • Reflect this engagement on LinkedIn as “Independent Contractor”
