📋 Description

• Take ownership of an acquired portfolio of Australian clients and ensure a smooth transition • Perform bookkeeping and accounting tasks across the client portfolio • Review and quality-check junior bookkeepers’ work, providing guidance and mentorship • Prepare and review management accounts and BAS • Support bookkeeping and accounting service delivery across the client portfolio • Progressively supervise additional offshore team members as the team grows • Improve workflows, accuracy, and efficiency using AI tools such as Claude • Work independently, take ownership, and escalate issues when needed • Work directly with the Director

🎯 Requirements

• CPA or CA qualified, or actively progressing towards qualification • Strong accounting experience, ideally working with Australian businesses • Proven experience reviewing or supervising junior bookkeepers/accounting staff • Confident with management accounts and BAS • Strong knowledge of accounting systems such as Xero, QuickBooks, MYOB, or Reckon • Excellent attention to detail, communication, and problem-solving skills • Self-motivated and comfortable working independently • Interest or experience in using AI tools such as Claude to improve workflows • Must be based in the Philippines • Disclose any existing ongoing roles or client work • Reflect this engagement on LinkedIn profile, clearly marked as “Independent Contractor”
