📋 Description

• Design and implement policies and working practices to ensure common standards across a multi-cloud environment • Drive cloud cost optimization through rightsizing, optimization, and reserved instances/Savings Plans • Review and monitor cloud costs, configure threshold alerts, analyze costs, and recommend savings measures • Develop cost metrics and collaborate with stakeholders on budgeting • Develop policies and architectural standards for account creation, identity and access management, cost management, security, tagging, backups, storage, and logging • Develop and maintain standard operating procedures, working procedures, training materials, and documentation for AWS, Azure, and GCP • Roll out and develop centralized tools across cloud platforms to apply policies and monitor compliance • Set up policy enforcement mechanisms and reporting mechanisms demonstrating policy adherence • Work with the ServiceNow team to implement workflows and automate processes • Review and update standards according to current multi-cloud best practices • Improve cost and control dashboards and alerting for performance, usage, and compliance • Collaborate with the Cloud Delivery Team and stakeholders to deliver cloud projects while maintaining compliance • Travel as required by the position

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in a related field or equivalent relevant work experience • Industry-standard certifications preferred • 6+ years of related experience in a technical position supporting cloud-based infrastructure • Experience with AWS, GCP, or Azure required • Strong working knowledge of cloud technologies in at least one major cloud platform: AWS, Azure, or GCP • Knowledge of SCPs, landing zones, Control Tower, AWS Config, CloudWatch, CloudTrail, AWS Cost Explorer, Azure Policy, Azure Security Center, Azure Monitor, Azure Advisor, GCP logging, and GCP monitoring • Experience with third-party cost monitoring tools • Strong experience in cloud cost optimization, including rightsizing, optimization, and reserved instances/Savings Plans • General knowledge of cloud technologies, cloud architecture, and cloud deployment • Legal right to work in the country where the role is based • Ability to travel as required
