📋 Description

‱ Sell and promote IDEXX products and/or services to customers. ‱ Responsible for development of new accounts and/or generating new business from existing accounts. ‱ Pursue sales leads and visit customer sites within assigned territory defined by geographic area, industry or product/service segment. ‱ Engage with customers over the phone and Internet to close sales. ‱ Execute sales strategy, identify new opportunities/leads, and generate sales reports. ‱ Deliver monthly, quarterly and annual sales goals, within an expense budget. ‱ Leverage other sales channels to maximize sales and customer service franchise objectives. ‱ Develop and support sales processes to improve productivity and ensure that goals are met. ‱ Analyze the characteristics and trends of the local market and help define customer needs for new or modified products and services.

🎯 Requirements

‱ Bachelors degree or equivalent combination of education and experience required. ‱ High comfort with both outbound and inbound sales activity, combining account strategy with attention to detail. ‱ Strong communications skills including writing, listening and questioning. ‱ Sales ability / persuasiveness. ‱ Strong interpersonal skills with ability to establish rapport quickly, build and maintain relationships. ‱ Capability to absorb and articulate technical information. ‱ Highly motivated and goal oriented. ‱ Strong organizational skills, especially in a multi-tasking environment. ‱ Effective time management skills to ensure desired business outcomes. ‱ Ability to work both independently and as part of a team. ‱ Computer proficiency (Microsoft Windows, Excel, Word and Outlook).
