📋 Description

• Responsible for the installation and maintenance of Illumina instruments onsite within customer labs. • Interface between the field organization and internal support structure by providing timely onsite technical assistance. • Demonstrates technical competence while installing, upgrading, repairing and maintaining instrument systems. • Ensure proper inventory levels of service parts to promote first time fix. • Work in conjunction with sales and marketing staff to coordinate new system placements and develop leads. • Establish and maintain strong relationships with key customers and the existing customer base.

🎯 Requirements

• BSc/MSc within a relevant engineering field or some hands on engineering experience within industry • Ability to troubleshoot electromechanical, optical, robotic and electronic systems • Strong communication skills • Working familiarity with genomics, sequencing applications, laboratory environments or related biomedical technologies is advantageous • Excellent verbal and written communication skills • Experience working with complex machinery within the healthcare sector strongly preferred • Fluency in both French and English language
