âą Responsible for the installation and maintenance of Illumina instruments onsite within customer labs. âą Interface between the field organization and internal support structure by providing timely onsite technical assistance. âą Demonstrates technical competence while installing, upgrading, repairing and maintaining instrument systems. âą Ensure proper inventory levels of service parts to promote first time fix. âą Work in conjunction with sales and marketing staff to coordinate new system placements and develop leads. âą Establish and maintain strong relationships with key customers and the existing customer base.
âą BSc/MSc within a relevant engineering field or some hands on engineering experience within industry âą Ability to troubleshoot electromechanical, optical, robotic and electronic systems âą Strong communication skills âą Working familiarity with genomics, sequencing applications, laboratory environments or related biomedical technologies is advantageous âą Excellent verbal and written communication skills âą Experience working with complex machinery within the healthcare sector strongly preferred âą Fluency in both French and English language
