📋 Description

• Build and further develop InkuPlay’s in-house legal function • Advise executive management on legal and strategic matters • Draft, review and negotiate customer, partner, supplier and other commercial agreements • Develop and standardize contract templates, clause libraries and legal playbooks • Establish efficient contract-review and approval processes • Provide advice on data protection and product-related privacy issues, particularly regarding the GDPR, digital products and new technologies • Provide legal support for new products, features, business models and partnerships • Take responsibility for IP, copyright, trademark and content-related matters • Support the People team on employment-law topics, employment contracts and freelancer arrangements • Handle corporate law and corporate governance matters • Develop and maintain central internal policies, including those on data protection, compliance, AI usage and information security • Identify and prioritize key legal risks • Manage and coordinate external law firms and specialist advisers • Build a transparent legal and contract management system including deadlines, obligations and relevant risks

🎯 Requirements

• Qualified lawyer (e.g., German Volljurist) or equivalent legal qualification • Several years of relevant professional experience, ideally both in a law firm and in-house • Experience as Legal Counsel, Senior Legal Counsel, Head of Legal or in a comparable role • Strong knowledge of general commercial and contract law • Experience drafting and negotiating complex commercial agreements • Good knowledge of data protection law and ideally experience with digital products, software, platforms or technology-driven business models • Experience with IP, media, marketing or antitrust/competition law is a plus • Solid understanding of employment and corporate law issues • Experience building legal processes, templates or contract playbooks is especially welcome • Ability to assess legal risks from a business perspective and to provide clear recommendations • High degree of autonomy and a pragmatic working style • Excellent written and spoken German and English
