• Collaborate with internal teams and end users to determine technical requirements (e.g., authentication, SIS integration). • Assess and propose technical solutions tailored to customer needs and constraints. • Provide ongoing technical consultation and assistance for both internal and external partners, including best practices and process improvements. • Pilot and test middleware solutions to streamline data transfer between customer data sources and Canvas. • Own the delivery of solutions from planning through execution. • Document processes thoroughly and maintain up-to-date records for all projects. • Communicate complex technical concepts clearly and efficiently, both in writing and orally. • Develop custom tools to enhance team workflows and productivity. • Minimize Instructure’s risk exposure through careful management of technical integrations and configurations.
• Bachelor’s degree in a related field. • 2+ years of experience in SaaS implementations or technical support roles. • Solid understanding of identity provider authentication systems (e.g., CAS, SAML, LDAP, OAuth). • Experience working with APIs. • Excellent written and verbal communication skills. • Strong interpersonal abilities with a customer-centric approach. • Willingness and capability to learn and apply new technologies quickly. • Some experience with a programming language is strongly preferred. • Ability to collaborate across departments and with stakeholders at various levels. • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; able to manage shifting priorities and timelines. • Experience in higher education or K-12 sectors is preferred.
